Christ Cornell and other members of the 1990’s famous band Soundgarden have reunited after a break of thirteen years in January 2010 and now after a reunion of one year band announced that their first-ever live album will hit the stores on March 21, 2011. The new album titled "Live On I5" features the band’s old hit songs including Spoonman, Rusty Cage, Burden In My Hand, Jesus Christ Pose and the Cornell’s solo song Black Hole Sun.

The album was recorded when Christ and his band went on their west coast leg of Soundgarden's 1996 North American tour. At that time Christ as the lead vocalist of the band accompanied recording engineer Adam Kasper with him on the West Coast tour and the band’s first live album was recorded. However the tapes had to be sealed in boxes as Soundgarden disbanded soon after tour was over. But now after their 2010 reunion instead of recording new material band decided to releases some songs that were never played live.

The complete track list of Live On I5 features songs: Spoonman, Searching With My Good Eye Closed, Let Me Drown, Head Down, Outshined, Rusty Cage, Burden In My Hand, Helter Skelter, Boot Camp, Nothing To Say, Slaves And Bulldozers, Dusty, Fell On Black Days, Search And Destroy, Ty Cobb, Black Hole Sun and Jesus Christ Pose.

The Grammy award winning singer will embark its first solo tour later this spring. Christ will open his solo acoustic "Songbook" tour on April 1, 2011 at Paramount Theater, Tustin, TX and tour will run through May 6, 2011. His major stops include Houston, Dallas, Atlanta, Boston, New York, Washington, Chicago and Los Angles among others. he will perform 3 concerts in Canada in Elizabeth Theatre, Toronto cities. Christ first performed a concert of same type in December 2009 at the Hotel Cafe in Los Angles in response to overwhelmed demand for the singer and show was a sold out .

For the upcoming Songbook tour Christ is expected to play songs from throughout his singing career; his work with Soundgarden, Audioslave, Temple of the Dog bands and his solo performances.

Christ 46, who wrote "You Know My Name", the theme song of the James Bond film, Casino Royale released in 2006 during his solo career is again in headlines after the news broke out that he will co-produce and write music the movie "Beyond Good and Evil", a directorial debut for the actor James Franco.
